Jack Kerouac, most famous for his novel On the Road, traversed the country and back repeatedly and wrote extensively about it. However, he would always return home, which he would depart from again once restlessness took hold.
Most existing museums and exhibits tend to focus on Kerouac as part of the larger Beat Movement. This museum serves as a spiritual home to Kerouac’s identity as an author and his literary output.
